If you want flowers as a nursery theme, you’ll find plenty of options. There are the more traditional, ornate designs, as well as simpler, more modern choices. From soft pinks to bright yellows or purples, a floral design can accommodate just about any color scheme.

Fairy tales and nursery rhymes make a whimsical choice for your baby bedding. There are literally hundreds of characters to choose from. The best part about a theme like this is that your daughter will become familiar with the characters as she grows up and this theme will last her well into preschool.

Plan ahead if you want to have more kids - a girl’s bedding set won’t work well in a boy’s nursery. Neutral colors (browns) are a great choice and don’t necessarily have to be boring. Yellows and greens are two other choices.
