When you’re having a little girl, you’re going to be spending a lot of time thinking about the nursery. One of the most important considerations will be the girl’s crib bedding. Since the advent of online shopping, the range of choices for baby bedding has ballooned, and you are now able to find any style or color that you want.

Decorating a girl’s nursery allows you to take cuteness to a whole new level. A boy’s nursery will never look right filled with frilly, lacy bedding and accessories, so having a girl will finally give you the excuse to buy that bedding you’ve always wanted.

If you are into the traditional look of times past, then you’ll probably want something very intricately designed. You can also consider girly ideas like floral designs, baby bonnets (think Sunbonnet Sue), or pink and sage baby crib bedding set.

A princess theme has got to be one of the all-time classics for girls’ nurseries, and it’s easy to find bedding that will fit the theme perfectly - pink taffeta, for example. If you’re looking for a simple way to get a princess theme, try Disney. Their Disney Princess line includes everything you could possibly need to decorate the nursery, so all you need to do is just go shopping.

If you want flowers as a nursery theme, you’ll find plenty of options. There are the more traditional, ornate designs, as well as simpler, more modern choices. From soft pinks to bright yellows or purples, a floral design can accommodate just about any color scheme.

Fairy tales and nursery rhymes make a whimsical choice for your baby bedding. There are literally hundreds of characters to choose from. The best part about a theme like this is that your daughter will become familiar with the characters as she grows up and this theme will last her well into preschool.

Plan ahead if you want to have more kids - a girl’s bedding set won’t work well in a boy’s nursery. Neutral colors (browns) are a great choice and don’t necessarily have to be boring. Yellows and greens are two other choices.
